Refund & Cancellation Policy

Version 2026-08-09· Applies to Limn and Helm (together, the “Service”), operated by Ludotronics.

1. What you are buying

Helm sells Fuel packs: a one-time purchase of credits used to build, repair, and publish games. Fuel is a digital service delivered to your balance as soon as your payment settles. Helm has no recurring subscription — you are never billed again unless you buy another pack.

2. Failed builds are not charged

Fuel is reserved when a build starts and settled against what the build actually used. If a build fails, is cancelled, or produces no playable game, the reserved Fuel is released back to your balance automatically. Where our pipeline consumed Fuel and still did not deliver a working game, we return that spend to your balance.

If you believe you were charged for a build that failed and the Fuel did not come back, contact us and we will investigate and return it if the charge was ours in error.

3. Fuel pack refunds

Unused Fuel from a pack is refundable within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not spent it. Refunds are issued to the original payment method for the unspent portion, and the corresponding Fuel is removed from your balance.

Fuel already spent on completed builds is non-refundable, because the underlying compute has been consumed and the resulting game is yours to keep. This does not affect your rights where a charge was made in error or where a refund is required by law.

4. Remix purchases

Some published games can be remixed for a price set by their creator, paid in Fuel from your balance rather than as a separate card charge. Once a remix unlocks and the project source is copied into your account, it is non-refundable, because you have received the thing you paid for. If a remix fails to unlock, the Fuel is returned.

5. Service failures on our side

If our platform fails in a way that consumes your Fuel without delivering a usable result, we return that Fuel to your balance. Where a sustained outage on our side made the Service unusable for you, contact us and we will make it right.

6. How to request a refund

Email contact@ludotronics.io from the address on your account, with the approximate date of the charge and what went wrong. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Once we process a refund, the time for it to appear on your statement is set by your bank or card issuer and is typically 5–10 business days.

7. Creator payouts

If you earn from other people remixing your games, payouts are a separate flow from refunds and are described in your Settings. Withdrawn earnings are not reversible through this policy.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a chargeback. Nearly every billing issue is faster to resolve directly, and we would rather fix it than dispute it.
