Help
Everything you need to build, publish, and ship with Helm.
How generation works
Describe a game in plain language. Helm’s agent plans genre and art direction, designs a typed GameSpec, generates Limn artwork, implements deterministic TypeScript against the Helm Game Kit (HGK), and verifies the build before you play.
You can approve the design plan, tweak behaviors and levels visually, reuse Limn library assets, and export a static web ZIP when you’re happy.
Supported genres
Helm ships twelve blueprints: Platformer, Top-Down, Shoot-em-up, Arcade, Endless Runner, Puzzle, Tower Defense, Physics, Idle / Clicker, Card / Board, Racing, Visual Novel.
Each genre maps to a physics tier (kinematic, Box2D, or grid) and curated systems so the agent isn’t inventing physics from scratch.
Credits & billing
Art generation uses your personal Limn credits. Agent work (planning, code, verify) uses Helm credits.
Buy Helm packs from Settings → Wallet, or start from the Pricing page. Limn packs live on Limn.
Publishing
When a game is Ready, open the Publish tab in Studio. Choose Public (listed on the homepage) or Unlisted (link-only).
Helm writes a playable bundle and captures a short looping preview clip. Anyone can report a public game; admins can unpublish it.
Troubleshooting
If a build fails, open the Agent tab and Retry — or restore a snapshot from the top bar.
If preview capture fails, the game still publishes; the showcase card shows a placeholder until you republish.
Password reset and email verification live on Limn (shared login). Use the links in Settings.
